E-NEWS for WEEK OF 3/21/2021-3/27/2021
THIS SUNDAY IN WORSHIP
This Sunday we hope you will join us in person at 8:30am or 10:30am. The service will also be posted on Facebook and You Tube. Our message this week by Pastor Mark is “I Thirst”. There will also be a special guest sharing with us at the 10:30 service – Nicodemus.
RETURN TO IN-PERSON WORSHIP
We will be returning to in-person worship on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at 8:30am and 10:30am. We hope you will join us as we once again open our doors for worship. Please note that we will continue to follow the guidelines we had in place in December when we closed due to increased Covid numbers.
TITHE & OFFERINGS: ONLINE OPPORTUNITY
THANK YOU everybody for your continued prayers and financial support, especially over the past several months. Remember, we give because God first gave to us. You can give by dropping off your offering at the church or by mailing it in. You can also coordinate with your financial institution a weekly or monthly draft and have it mailed directly to the church, or you can give through a trusted online resource provided through our conference at the following link: https://www.wnccumc.org/online-donations-to-churches. Thank You again for your faithfulness and generosity as we strive to follow Jesus, make disciples, for the transformation of the world.
If you would like to place an Easter Lily in the sanctuary in honor or memory of someone for Easter, please contact the church office by Monday, March 22nd. Cost is $10.00. These will be placed in the Sanctuary for Easter Sunday, April 4th.
MT. PLEASANT YOUTH MISSION PROJECT
Our Mt. Pleasant Youth group will be holding a food drive for ECCCM on Sunday, March 28th during their regular meeting time (4:30pm – 6:00pm). You are welcomed to drive by and drop off a donation for your “favorite team” as the youth also celebrate March Madness. For those who cannot come by, there will be a box in the Narthex on Sunday, March 21st and March 28th. You may also drop donations by the church office during regular office hours.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY TEAM EVENT
Our Children’s Ministry Team will be hosting the annual Easter Eggstravaganza on Sunday, March 28th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Children from preschool through 6th grade are invited to join us for an Easter egg hunt here on the grounds. Groups will be as follows:
