THIS SUNDAY IN WORSHIP
We hope you will join us this Sunday, May 14th as Pastor Byron shares with us “A Mother’s Faith” at the 8:30 service. The scripture lesson is John 2:1-11. At the late service, we will be recognizing our high school graduates. The message will be “Story Time” with Jana Alexander as the reader. The scripture lesson is 2Timothy 1:1-6.

JOINT WORSHIP SERVICE 
MAY 28TH AT 10:00AM, ROCK SPRING CAMPGROUND
On Memorial Day weekend, we will be worshipping with several other area United Methodist Churches at Rock Spring Campground. A special offering will be received to support the work of the missional networks of the churches involved. We WILL NOT have worship at Mt. Pleasant that morning, but plan for our members to participate in the joint worship service. In case of bad weather, we will worship in the Family Life Center at Denver UMC.
 
EAGLE SCOUT PROJECT
As a Troop 327 Eagle Project, I am constructing a Little Free Library to be installed at Balls Creek Elementary. Research shows that increased access to literature increases literacy. Please help me fill the little library for this summer. There will be plastic totes in the narthex that are being used to collect children’s books. Collection will begin May 3rd and end June 2nd. Please limit donations to children and young adult literature only. Any

SPRING BLOOD DRIVE
Thank you to everyone who came out to this event on May 10th. Whether you were a donor, worker, provided refreshments or one of our Boy Scouts, we could not have done this without YOU!. We were credited with collecting 40 units of blood for this event. Each donor is a hero, so once again our thanks for your giving!
