THIS SUNDAY IN WORSHIP
We hope you will join us this Sunday, May 15th, as we continue to celebrate the Easter season. This week Pastor Jonathan will share with us “We Are Witnesses: What God Called Clean”. The scripture lesson is Acts 11:1-18. 

CREATION CARE TEAM LAUNCHING
Did you know that in the Bible, God’s people are charged with being caretakers of all that God made? The Western NC Conference of the UMC is encouraging every church to establish a Creation Care Ministry. Pastor Jonathan is involved with this ministry on multiple levels and will host an information meeting this Sunday, May 15th at 6:00PM at the Pavilion. Come join us then or contact Pastor Jonathan to learn more.

GRADUATION SUNDAY
We will be honoring our high school graduates and recognizing our college graduates on Sunday, May 22nd at the 11:00am service. Please contact the church office if you have a high school or college graduate (includes mid-year graduates). The Dana Little Circle, assisted by the MtP Youth, will be providing breakfast for the graduates and their families following the early service in the Christian Life Center. Families are invited to decorate a table to honor their graduating senior.

CATAWBA ROSENWALD EDUCATION CENTER GRADUATION
 As most of you know, Mt. Pleasant, as well as the other Methodist Churches in our Missional Network, have been instrumental in assisting with programs at Rosenwald. One of the most important and biggest events of the year is their graduation. This year, graduation will be on May 27th. We need volunteers who would be interested in helping with contributions of finger foods, some baked items or monetary support for the reception that follows the graduation. It is anticipated that we will be serving about 100 individuals at this reception (graduates, their guests and Rosenwald staff). WORSHIPING TOGETHER, MAY 29TH, 10:00AM, ROCK SPRING CAMPGROUND
On Memorial Day weekend, we will be worshiping with several other area United Methodist Churches. Rev. David, Christy, our District Superintendent, will deliver the sermon, our choir members will be part of a mass choir, and a special offering will be received to support the work of the missional networks of churches involved. We will not have worship at Mt. Pleasant that morning. Mark you calendars and plan to join us at Rock Spring! 

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Vacation Bible School will be June 27th—July 1st from 9:00AM to 12:00PM. We are in need of volunteers to make this a great event. If you would like to volunteer, please follow this link, VBS 2022 Mt.
