THIS SUNDAY IN WORSHIP

CHURCH LEADERSHIP
A list of the 2023 Church Leadership is available to anyone wanting a copy in the Narthex. We ask that you take one copy per family. This list is also available on the church website, www.mtpumc.org.

MTP YOUTH
You are asked to keep our Youth and their Leaders in your prayers as they travel to Pigeon Forge on January 20th for REZ 23’. This youth event has become a favorite trip for our youth as they join with others for a time of celebration, renewal, and worship.

GIRL SCOUT COOKIE TIME
It’s that wonderful time of year when Girl Scout Cookies have arrived and are available. See Melanie Panaccione, Tina Sisk, or any of “our” Girl Scouts to place/pickup your orders or to buy boxes.

CARDBOARD CITY FUNDRAISER
Our Boy Scouts are again tmeetings his year collecting canned goods and money to support a deserving local charity, The Christian Food Pantry & Clothes Closet of Sherrills Ford. On the evening of Saturday, January 20th, we will build Cardboard City where our Scouts will eat and sleep for the night. You can sponsor boys to help them raise money for our chosen charity and also bring canned food. The troop will be collecting food at meetings during the month of January where you can drop off your canned good.
Ways to Donate:
1 – Mail or drop off checks to any at the Mt. Pleasant UMC Office. Put “Cardboard City” in the memo line. Checks should be made out to Troop 327. The address is: 4136 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Sherrills Ford, NC 28673.
2 – Give a check made out to Troop 327 to any Scout in the Troop. Put “Cardboard City” in the memo line.
3 – Donate using the Venmo QR code found on our Facebook page, flyers and in the church bulletin. In the “What’s It For?” type “Cardboard City
