Hello Mt. Pleasant!
I am very excited to be serving in ministry with you starting January 2023 and I’m looking forward to hearing your stories and getting to know you. I know you are curious about me and have questions, so let me give you a little background, and then help you get to know me by answering some questions that you might find interesting.

A member of Mt. Pleasant UMC since 1997, Ann joined the staff in 2016 after retiring from Mid-Atlantic Emergency Medical Associates as their Office Manager.

 

Glenda was born and raised in Rowan County, North Carolina and graduated from East Rowan High School and Pfeiffer College. She met her husband, Tom, there and they moved to Mooresville, where he is from and has lived there for 40 years. Through the years, she has sung in high school and college choirs and in several community choruses. She was choir director at Vanderburg UMC and Triplett UMC, both in Mooresville.

I am Teresa Hewitt and have grown up in Iredell County. I have always been interested in playing the piano. Beginning in third grade, I took lessons for eight years. At age sixteen, I began playing the piano for my church. In college, I continued my musical training, graduating with a BA in Music Education from Catawba College. 
 

Amy has been an employee at Mt Pleasant Preschool since 1999.  She became the Director in 2003. Both her children attended the preschool, and are now twenty-six and twenty-one. 
 
Before joining Mt Pleasant Preschool, Amy worked in a corporate office setting, serving as the Administrative Assistant to the CFO for 12 years. 
 
She is also a member of Mt Pleasant UMC. 
 

Penelope Jackson joined Mt Pleasant in 2016 as the Financial Secretary. Penny is a Certified Public Accountant with over 30 years of accounting experience in the Venture Capital industry.
