Glenda Carriker

Glenda was born and raised in Rowan County, North Carolina and graduated from East Rowan High School and Pfeiffer College. She met her husband, Tom, there and they moved to Mooresville, where he is from and has lived there for 40 years. Through the years, she has sung in high school and college choirs and in several community choruses. She was choir director at Vanderburg UMC and Triplett UMC, both in Mooresville.

She has a love for floral design and has been a part-time floral designer with Clipper’s Flowers of Lake Norman in Mooresville for 30 years, where she like to specialize in wedding and prom work.
She has always enjoyed North Carolina Tarheels basketball and Carolina Panthers football.
