Blue Christmas – A special service of remembrance and hope.

December 20 at 4:00pm

Blue? Yes, blue as in the blues. As in “I am feeling blue.” Not everyone is up and cheery for the Christmas holidays. Christmas can be a bittersweet time of the year. The constant refrain about getting together with family, reminds many people of what and who they have lost, or what they never had. The anguish of broken relationships, the insecurity of unemployment, the weariness of ill health, the pain of isolation – all these can make us feel very much alone in the midst of the festive season.

This year we invite you to experience a service of remembrance, hope, and preparing our hearts for the coming of the Christ child on December 20 beginning at 4pm in the sanctuary.

Following the service everyone is welcome to enjoy a free meal in the Christian Life Center. At the conclusion of the meal, for those interested, we will be Christmas Caroling in throughout the community.
